A DAY OUT AT CHAUNCY VALE, BAGDAD
10.30am to 3.00pm - stalls, bands etc, tour of the property, light
refreshments.
BYO picnic lunch, Meet at the Pontville Hall at 10.00am.
February 8 (Thursday):
COMMITTEE MEETING
7.00pm at Shannons Building, Argyle St. North Hobart. All members
are welcome -
please bring a plate of supper to share.
February 12 (Sunday):
OLD BEACH CAR SHOW
10.00am until 3.00pm - Jetty Road, Old Beach. Featuring all makes
and models,
modern and vintage cars. Car entrants admitted free. Food
and beverages will be
available at the venue. Trophy presentation will be at 2.30pm.
All entrants go into
the draw for lucky gate prizes, as do the paying public. Club
members please
advise events director by Monday February 5 if you will be attending.
If you would like to travel there with a club group - please meet at
the
eastern side of the Bowen Bridge at 9.45am.
February 15 (Wednesday): MID WEEK
RUN
Meet at the Sandy Bay Beach rotunda for a BBQ afternoon tea at 3.30pm.
Enjoy
the sunshine, lots of talk, go for a walk and then wait for those who
are unlucky
enough to still have to go to work to arrive for a BBQ tea - from 5.00pm
onwards.
February 18 (Saturday):

Meet at Granton for a 9.00am departure.

CAR DISPLAY AT THE PENNY FARTHING CHAMPIONSHIPS, EVANDALE

March 4 (Sunday):
SHANNONS CAR AND BIKE EXPO - Charles Hand Memorial Oval, Rosny Park
Arrive 9.15 - 9.30am. Tasmania's largest car, bike and trade stand
show
featuring Tasmanian Rocker Cover Racing Championships. Entry
arrangements
are different this year, eg no entry form is required - just turn up on
the day. We
can park together as a group, but please inform the person on the gate
if you
wish your vehicle to be judged.
March 10 (Sunday):
BBQ AT THE TREASURER' RESIDENCE, EAGLEHAWK NECK
See Wheels Within for directions. BYO food and drinks.
Please also bring a
salad and sweets to share.
If you wish to travel in a group, meet at Cambridge Park at 9.45am to
depart at
10.00.

cake. Wear green if possible. If you could bring your own

VCCA SWAP MEET
The annual swap meet organised by the northern section of the Veteran
Car Club
of Australia (Tas). Starts at 9.00am, Willis Street Council Car
Park, next to the
National Automobile Museum of Tasmania. Those wishing to attend,
just go
independently as you please.

LONGFORD REVIVAL FESTIVAL, SHANNONS INSURANCE SHOW AND
SHINE - PRE 1980s VEHICLES ONLY

BUICK NATIONALS TOURING TASMANIA
Cars will be on display at Parliament House Lawns on the tour's visit to
Hobart.
