COVID-19

The last few months have been tough for all clubs and ours is no exception.  Thanks to all for your patience during this time.  The good news is Tasmania is in an excellent position and we are now re-activating our calendar of events – please refer to our Events section for information on what is coming up.

A Little About Us

The Post Vintage Car Club of Tasmania was founded in 1975 by a group of car enthusiasts who wanted to have a club that catered for cars manufactured after January 1 1930. The club is family oriented with regular activities such as picnics, family days, social evenings and outings in the vehicles. Each year a Club Family Fun Day and barbecue lunch is held, in conjunction with a children’s Christmas Party.

Our Objectives

  • To promote the preservation, restoration and use of post vintage vehicles of all kinds.
  • To conduct meetings and club activities from which members may obtain knowledge enabling them to better achieve the aims set out above.
  • To provide advice and assistance (where possible) to members undertaking the preservation or restoration of post vintage vehicles.

Please note: We regret that due to insurance and registration laws we are unable to provide vehicles for weddings, leavers’ dinners and other events.
